Bedrooms
For sleeping arrangements, there are 3 rooms that can accommodate 2~4 people. We recommended a maximum of 8 people total for ideal comfort. Please contact us to discuss larger groups as it will depend on how many children vs adults and our ability to provide enough blankets, etc.

Large Bedroom
Sleeping arrangements in the large bedroom are traditional Japanese style futon.

Small Bedroom
In the smaller bedroom, there is a western-style raised mattress sleeping arrangement.

The kitchen offers a number of appliances and cookware for you to prepare meals at home.

Living Room
Relax in the living room on traditional Japanese-style tatami mats or site at the table and enjoy a home-cooked meal.

Backyard
The house features a backyard area for lounging and getting some fresh air.
Neighborhood
YATA House is conveniently located in the south corner of Osaka City, within walking distance of both the famous large park Nagai-koen (home to the 2002 Soccer World Cup) as well as the major river that is the border of Osaka City, Yamato-gawa, whose riverside features running & cycling paths, etc. The surrounding neighborhood has a variety of shops and restaurants that are worth checking out as well as a convenience store right nearby.

Grocery Stores
The nearest supermarket is conveniently located at the station, a 4m walk from the house. A 5m (350m) walk to a grocery store type convenience store (Lawson 100).

Restaurants
There are many good places to eat right around Yata Station if you want to go exploring locally or head ~15min into Tennoji or Namba by train.

Convenience Stores
A 2min (80m) walk to the nearest convenience store (Lawson). A 4min (280m) walk to the convenience store nearest the station (FamilyMart).
Transportation

There is a train station conveniently located within short walk from the front door of the house, which takes you directly to Osaka. Yata station is only 4min (280m) by foot. The station is on the Kintetsu train line that originates in the hub of JR Tennoji, where the tallest building in Japan, Abeno Harukus, is located. Just a 13~15min direct ride.

- How long can we book Yata House?
PLEASE NOTE: The minimum length of stay is 2 nights (3 days). There is no maximum length of stay but if you wish to stay long-term, please get in touch with us to confirm the availability and price.
- What languages can you accommodate?
We support both Japanese and English.
- How many bathrooms are there?
1 toilet (separate from the bath)

1 wash basin w/ mirror & hair dryer
- Are there laundry machines?
Yes, there is 1 washing machine, in the covered patio area of the yard.
- Is there a refrigerator?
Yes, there is a good size refrigerator / freezer in the kitchen.
- Rules and Regulations
No smoking permitted. All garbage must be separated as designated by the signage in the house. Additionally by law, as the proprietor we will have to enter the house & we will notify our guests before we do so. This is to clean & also for a safety inspection as required by local laws to ensure all rules (especially regarding no smoking + garbage separation) are being followed.
